Yep from memory they're separate. Someone else can confirm, I don't have access to my car right now.

If its like my CB .. then it would be seperate.. H1 and H4 is for CB's..

Just have a look in the headlight housing.. and see if there seperate.. the High beams should be under a cone like thing..and if another bulb is visible then it would be seperate

Ok, took my HIDS out yesterday, can confirm this.

H4 is low and high its dual

H1 is your high beams

So, when you flick your highbeams on it quad lights, if you get me.

So the H4 turns on its high beams within that bulb and the H1's also light up, which are much brighter than the H4's, similar to a VN commodore.

But with the H4 HIDS you have to specify singular or bi-xenon.

H4=low H1=high
When you flick on the highbeams, the H4 stays on low and the H1 lights up. You dont have to get H4 bi-xenon if your upgrading to hids for low
