Hi guys, trying to decide on which of the 2 cars above i should get next, its going to be a daily, but im going to be doing alot of track days with it as well so handling and performance are going to be a key point in the decision process. so just after some feedback on which you think would be more suitable.
Thanks all

Eg6 is so much more rare and cheaper but older obviously.
Depends if you want a hatch or coupe.

A reliable source that has owned a EG6 and AUDM ITR once told me that the EG6 is faster. Hope that helps with your decision...

did he think that the Eg6 was a better package than the DC2r handling, straight out Acceleration, body design/rigidity?

Tell your source he is an absolute moron then.
Im sorry but how could anyone go for an EG6 over a DC2R.
I mean the DC2R outranks the EG6 in straightline speed, handling, styling and the fact that its a newer car is a bonus as well.
Now this is not me bashing the EG6 the EG6 is a sexy car and by all means deserves respect. 90LAN's EG6 is a perfect example.
But in my books the DC2R outclasses the EG6 Stock for Stock hands down. Anyone who says the EG6 is faster is kidding themselves.

It's not an even comparison anyway.
Based on its age the eg6 holds its own quite well though.
The dc2r has had more development and chassis refining/stiffening as well as more displacement and horsepower
Dc2r owners will be biased as always ;)

DC2R is more rigid than the EG chassis I reckon. Drove an EG6 back in Singapore. Put it on track at Sepang and tadah!! You can literally feel that the chassis is gonna give way. However, with all the cage in there. It's superb with the light weight chassis. Woot Woot.
Haven't tried DC2R though. Apparently (from a friend of mine who upgraded from EG6 to JDM Spec DC2R), DC2R's chassis is a lot more rigid than EG6. Also, the power displacement is amazing (Due to B18C + Toda Headers + etc).

EG6 as im a eg lover
DC2R would be better suited to your needs
are u going to modify the car yourself ?
both cars have their pros and cons
either one will make u happy

I reckon that in terms of stock to stock, dc2r can definitely do better than EG due to its rigidity. Also, we got to take into consideration of who the driver is as well.

Fully agreed with that. EG is definitely a nice car to mod. It's a fun toy I would say.

alot of the bolt-ons ill do myself, ie cams, engine mounts etc but tuning ill send it off to get done with someone of intelegence( not me) depending how serious the track duties go, might be looking into low boost SC... but dont want to get ahead of myself. main thing is i have a streetable track car, and a good platform to work from
