I sorta heard mixed ideas and talk about a supposingly Stock B20vtec engine.
Is a B20vtech engine a fully original vtech engine os is it a stock b20 bottom end and with a b16 vtec head, making it vtech all together etc.
Anybody know what car EXACTLY this engine comes out from, cos i'm kinda looking for a complete engine and or front cut. let me know what you have and how much, ta.

the b20 comes out of a crv. you wouldn't be looking for a complete crv front cut, but just the bottom end.
You'll need b16\b18 head , b20 block(bottom end) Vtec Conversion kit.
just do a search there are alot of threads about b20 already

Now that i know what combination is needed for a B20Vtec engine, what about gearbox choice.
If i use a B20 Crv block, so does that mean i have to use a crv gearbox. Are Crv boxes 4wd or are they front wheel drive.

you can use any b series gearbox from a b16/b18

Is a B20A from a integra good enough or is it a must for the CRV B20 block.

the b20a from that was probably the black sheep of the b series family
parts aren't compatible afaik
read up on it on wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_B20A_engine)

lol, just saw the "mad" video and i agree
there's nothing special about this vid that relates to a b20 vtec specifically
any FF car with a handbrake can do that man but y would u?
just cuz ppl don't do it doesn't mean they can't.

Given that this is a technical forum, here's a useful link for common information regarding the B20A from AKMotorworks

But if your getting worked up over burnouts, this is the wrong forum... Perhaps you're more suited to commodores...

Now i know i gotta get a B20b block from a crv, but next is, what year model range do i look at. I wont be able to afford to look at every single crv out there.
So yeah, which year to which year range do i search for.
