I've got an app for my iPod that you guys might be interested in. Dynolicious uses the iPod or iPhones inbuilt accelerometer to stat up your ride.
Basically it'll give acceleration - all directions, sprint times and can work backwards to give you a rough indication of the power output of the car.
Anyway does anyone know what the drivetrain percentage loss on the FD1 is?

you can work out drive train percentage loss by using the OEM qouted fly wheel figure agains a dyno reading at the wheels.

Also, you're phone won't be that accurate but it'll be fun to play with.

power figures won't be too accurate but the G meter should be fun.

I had a play with it today.
Results are as follows:

0-10 MPH 0.99 sec
0-20 MPH 2.07 sec
0-30 MPH 3.16 sec
0-40 MPH 5.41 sec
0-50 MPH 7.00 sec
0-60 MPH 8.78 sec

Max. Speed 63.9 MPH
Max Acceleration 1.03Gs
Peak Horsepower 115HP

I'm not going to upload the screen grabs...that could incriminate me.

im guessin you have to input the weight of the car as well as a few other things.

Any way you can run it in metric?

There's supposed to be an update to make it into metric, but that's yet to come out.
And no. It's based entirely on the accelerometer which is built into the iPod. You just need to wedge it somewhere so that it can't move.
