Hi there,
I am fairly new to this, and found some help here earlier with a similar problem.
My 4ws light kept coming on, but I have since found this is because my ABS had been disconnected - Honda Aust said that I needed to replace the "actuator" and this would cost me around $3500. I spoke with some guys in the UK who said that the ABS in the 4th gen was not so good and to just disconnect it. My 4ws worked for a while after I did this, but then it came on and did so ever since. I was messing around with the car today and thought I would reconnect the ABS and see what happened...4ws works fine!!
Is there a way to disconnect the ABS so it won't interfere with the 4ws?? If not, I am trying to track down the parts to repair the ABS - think I may have one for $275 (a far cry from $3500) - but in case this doesn't work I thought I would look to plan B.
If anyone out there has any ideas on this, you help is appreciated.
