They sit about a 3/4 of a pipe below the sump.

I had a set and they scrapped abit.

JDM 4-1s are good as they only sit almost perfectly at sump level.

i used to use jdm 4-1 header on my ek4, find no problem on ground clearance. My car was on standard suspension.

If your going 4-1 as others have said, go an OEM JDM product, just as much go not as much show, toda headers have been proven to be near unbeatable for a B16 if your wanting to spend the money.

A company called Bisimoto in US has proven there headers are better then toda headers on a b16a.

Yeah fair call, if you wanna wait a while and for how much extra did it apparently pump out? Not to mention being one ugly looking header, but as im sure your aware, most us header makers will suggest the Toda item for stock to mild B16a builds which by the the sounds of it, is and will only ever be, hence why i suggested it as i had one fitted to my stock B16a a few years ago and it also fits the bill of having great ground clearance.

While were here, why dont you suggest he goes to Burns Stainless and gets a custom made, sure it'll make more then both of them.
