bushes are the hard rubber pieces that seperate the moving metal components that rub. As for the cost, it depends on which bushes are worn.

Get it checked with a mechanic I say...
Pedders said that to my friend and it was just a nut loose that caused the brushing to come loose. It cost 10$ to fix instead of the 280$+ that they wanted to charge him, as well as changing the CV joints that "needed changing" he had changed the month before..

Agreed. I took my car to pedda's for their el cheapo sussy check and they said i have to replace my bushes too.
Later on I went to whiteline, and they advised me (and SHOWED me) that my bushes were worn, but didn't need replacing for a while longer.
Euratheane bushes will give you a slightly harsher ride but a better response if you are into handling

cant say I've had the best or most reliable experiences with pedders, they seem a little keen to change parts. I would always seek a second opinion especialy is the quoted price seems a little high.

Pedders told me that my coilovers would need to be fully rebuilt andt ehy would need to be sent back to asia to be fixed and that there was no bush inside my coilover. All they needed was the bushes replaced wich i did myself and that cost me $52 and i did it all myself. spankers.

Trailing arm bushes are common to go in the rear on EK's.
Mine need replacing, sounds like a donkey at the moment when I go over speed bumps, also it makes a single clunk noise when you start driving after about 5 metres. I originally thought it was my dampers and handbrake or something, but I got the Honda service centre to check it out and they said it was a common thing.
I'm gonna go for the poly ones from Fulcrum, I'll let you know what the ride is like when it's done.
