99 ek cxi/gli

anyone with a 98-00 ek cxi/gli be able to tell me if the late model Ek come with black interior?

or only vti-r model has black interior

and are all 99-00 ek gli hatch = auto? cant seem to find any manual except for the cxi.

ive got GLi sedan, interior is not black, pretty sure its just VTiR, ive also looked at VTi EK sedans wit the same funky patterning on door trims n seats as my GLi. and yes manual GLi hatch backs do exist (though im not sure about the 99-00 time but i would assume there are since the facelift was purely cosmetic)

yeh as raztaz said u should be able 2 find a manuel hatchback there not easy 2 find they made 2many CXI models in manuel:(!!

I have a 99 gli EK hatch in manual, luckily came accross one when i was buying. but yeh hard to find, interior is dark grey

you lucky bastard, I've yet to find one, all of them are auto at the moment.
so interior is different from the earlier models or are they dark grey too?

if i had a donor ek4, would it be hard to put all the power options on a cxi door, or would I have to replace the complete door?

i think its jus plug n play, no need to replace the doors, but have to connect all the powerwindow motor n swtiches, but u have to change the door skin

only EK4 (VTiR) and EK9 (type R) comes with black interior. the rest is gray. even EM1 is also gray.

there are manuals as well for 99 hatch gli.

the bottom picture is the genuine one.

it looks like the genuine one will be of a better use (the circular base)

EK4 has black interior. the easiest to tell is to compare the colour of the dash to the buttons (ie. mirror switch, sunroof switch etc.)

but the shade of black between EK9 and EK4 is different. but EK4 does have black interior.

Gli and Cxi runs smaller fr discs and different pads compared to VTir. except 20th anniversary Gli, which has EK4 fr pads and discs.

I have a ek1 GLi Sedan MANUAL.

I dunno about Hatchback but I remember seeing lots of ek1 manuals out there.
I dunno about CXi, base model. Do you really want to wind up your windows?

was talking about late model 99-00 hatchbacks in GLi. (that is also manual)
not many of them. most late model 99-00 manuals came in Cxi. I have only seen a few black gli manual hatchback for sale.

trust me buddy i've seen it. i have put side by side ek1, ek4 and black carpet (DIY yo) and i can tell you ek4 is the slightest shade darker than ek1
