hey guys, haven't posted here for a while lol.

anyway, i just installed my stereo into my car, everything was working sweet, then the amp to my sub just died. i think its due to having it run on the low voltage input since ive changed my headunit to a unit that has 4V pre outs, (my last head unit i was running with this amp had 2V pre outs)

now my question is, is there anywhere in sydney i can get it repaired. the amp is a JL Audio 500/1 mono block amp, id rather get it repaired as im not to keen forking out another $1000 for a new sub amp

Call Custom Car Sound in Victoria who import JL and they will tell you if there is anyone in Sydney that is authorised to repair JL amps.

have you check the fuses?

no fuses in this amp that i can see.

it seems as tho the RCA inputs to the amp aren't working, the amp is still getting power but just not playing any music

ICACHA: do you have the number for them? or an email address?
