By knowing anything, i mean the past history and all, don't want to get jipped and end up with a lemon. Or waste my time taking it to a mech to check out.

thanks in advance

i'm sure the first one was turbocharged using a avo kit.
it was at toda when i saw it probably 6 months ago.
unless there is one running around with the exact same colour or similar.

very interesting indeed, cause i asked the owner about the car being turbo charged, and he said he DID have a kit for it, but never got around to actually installing it.

guess the owner is lying, anyway to spot whether it has been or not?

Forum member on clubitr.com.au have been saying its been turboed too.

AVO kit does not require your block to be cut, as far as i know.

Just set aside about 1k to do checks on whatever car your seriously keen on.

I mean its amazing how people will spend tens of thousands of dollars but wont spend that little bit extra to make sure the thing wont fall apart after they buy it.

what you have to ask is why the first one was resprayed... as stated its been turboed, and has P plates on it... stay away

The second one has P plates, had the original rims sprayed, and has an exhaust... its been messed with, i'd stay away

The third one is exhausted... but looks otherwise stock, which leave it open to someone who has demodded it to sell...

You havent told us what kind of car you are looking for... if i was you id be looking to buy one as close to standard as possible, and certainbly wouldnt buy off a P Plater... If you dont mind km's and who has owned it... take a look for obvious panel damage (unless the owner is upfront and tells you if its had any) check the dipstick ffor fresh oil, check log books for regular servicing, and general condition of the car...

But yeh it really depends on what you want... its very hard to find an unmolested one these days, and i wouldnt pay a premium for a car that has been modded at all.
