Hi all,
I'm looking into getting aftermarket rims for my Jazz. Just wondering what you guys have out there and if you can post pics that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

No, but in regards to 17's or 18's?

vtis... 16,17,18 all will rub.. also depend on offset. I think its best you do a search before you jump on purchase. It has been covered before.

If you wan to do it the lazy way. Just look for the rim you want and post the specs up. Others can tell you how it rub or how you can counter it.

I figured if the offset isn't too far out it will not rub at all as my car is and will remain standard height and there is still alot of clearence between the tyre and the guard atm anyways. Since I'm going up 2" I will make up by going down on tyre height.

I've tried to do a search before and have found nothing.

No offence but if you had properly read my initial post you'd see that I'm not asking if this or that will fit. I'm simply asking what others have on their ride and if they had pics if they could post it.

Thanks :)

205/45/16 Buddy SF Challenge +42 offset i think... no problems
stock height/suspension/engine
feels great... however does chew up an extra 2L/100km according to trip computer, but handlng and grip feels quite good. works out to be same weight as standard 14" steelies which are ~14kg (rim +inflated tyre)

i know what you are askin :p i just telling you because before i change my rim i look around and found out so much information.

It may look like there is clearance but full turn or some load can affect it. slight bump and stuff.. just wish you are aware of it.

yar larger wheel consume more black gold to turn the wheel.

I got buddy club sf... Its cheap but it does the outlook job with a silver jazz. :p

They are some nice rims.

But I'm looking for 5 spoke rims. Any suggestions for any good looking 5 spoke?

Where's a good place to look for rims in Sydney? All I really know is Tempetyres and they reckon that these ones suit the Jazz but dunno if they are good quality or not though...

I like the "KSpeed Daytona Gold" (18th one down the list)

Thanks

buy whatever you like and can afford. If I were you I go to JDMYARD or Musecret for rims.

i know jap rims are well known for their quality of course depending on the manufacturer. But i agree with kongfu, if you got the budget go JDM one. CE28N is no wrong. Also look not only at design but also the size available.

16s should be fine, unless u dump it like crazy, even then it depends on the offset

I'm not going to go crazy on this car. It's just purely for looks as it is my family car. I have my z21 Soarer for fun.

You might try Torcu Tyre and Battery Service, Norfolk Rd Chullora - (ask for Alan - he will probably recommend that you stay away from 16" wheels due to the difficulty with sourcing reasonable tyres). This bloke is only interested in selling you the right stuff for your car - not just dumping anything cheap and nasty for a quick sale.

Do they have a website? Would like to see what they have to offer before I make that trip, only because Chullora is very far from the North Shore for me to just drop in and have a look. I've tried to google them but didn't find out much about them.

Thanks

Nup, no website. I don't want to sound as if I am touting their business, although it probably comes across like that, sorry, (I guess to some degree it's because I'm a very statisfied customer) but this is where my set-up was sourced because I wasn't happy with Tempe Tyres on a whole range of levels. Ring 9642-5919 or 9642-4474 but talk to Alan (he owns the joint) if he's not there - ring back. It's a good idea to have a concept of what you want first though.

Check out the photos of my 10 spoke wheels on my BSA Wheels and Wheel Studs post if that is any help - you'll see the same wheels on a '91 Civic and my GD3.
