Just bought an EH9 Civic SI w/ 220K's on it and it makes a horribly noise, here it is:

The sound qualiy is not the best as it was recorded using my old Dell Latitude CPi Laptop, which was sitting on the air induction box.
It has been serviced every 5-15000k's up to 208k's (I hope the timing belt has been done) and the previous owner drove it like a granny, I worked with the previous owner and he use to bitch at me for taking my AE82 Twin Cam up to 7000RPM and said he never went over 4500/5000RPM and this was way before he was even thinking about selling it, he was moving to some outback place to buy a Pub with his misses and they had a new Commodore so he needed to sell the Civic quickly.
It spent most of it's life in Darwin.
The sound is worse when it is cold and when it is under load, slowing down and turning (growns and moans), the power steering gets tuff to steer and when I come to a stop it nearly stalls (drops to 100-300RPM) but never does.
Driving in a straight line at 60 and above k's there is no noise; also the motor still runs smooth, good acceleration.
It sounds bloody terrible; im getting it serviced and checked over within the next 2 weeks,
Where should I take it? I'm in Adelaide
Thanks in advance guys
