hey everyone joined here in Jan but havent posted, just been reading and gathering informations.

this is my civic sedan.

was resprayed about 3months ago, professionally lowered on integra rims and has front lip.

running 1.6l single cam with greddy turbo kit and e-manage computer, front mount intercooler, full 3" exhaust, eboost boost controller on 6psi, rebuilt manual gearbox and lsd

yea i got the standard muffler welded onto a 3" flange but also have a straight thru 3" muffler, gives off a awesome note :cool:

Yes it is. hes a mate of mine, so he still gets to see it out and about. ordered me the injectors, just gotta work out time for tuning etc

not personally altho Lukezen27 (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79182) on this forum had the same setup running 5psi and a 2” exhaust and made 97.5KW

once i put the injectors in will be dyno tuned on 12psi

lol flutter is pretty bad if you know whats going on. look up compressor surge boyz lol. this is coming for wrx driver and some other turbo car over time. anyway turbo hondas are cooler than any other turbo car

Yeah but its like this...

Good BOV that dose a good job and is not just a toy, $500 plus labor..

Turbo rebuild $500 to $800 after long use... thing is they all end up needing rebuilds anyway so BOV's only adds a bit of life to the end game IMO...

So is the extra $500 plus labor worth it in the end?

That's only going off my cheap Mitsubishi Spec TD04H-15G Turbo that comes with my GReddy Kit and I'm sure other turbos cost a lot more to rebuild.

But yeah my car run's cooler now that I'm boosted lol

Nope, No oil cooler..

I don't track only 1/4 Mile is its not needed.

Plus more things installed more things that can fail

The sound changed by piping length or filler type but not sure about the flutter length itself

supra had massive BOV and still got super flutter~like at the start it didnt then over a period of months i could start to hear flutter

A lot of the new gen super cars don't even run BOV and there worth $$$$$$$$$$$$$

If they worked that well surely the manufacturers would want to protect there cars?

yer~i dont disagree with you~infact we notice a loss of power on some cars~r34 gtt is good example last year got it retuned with PFC, and it had intercool and fujitsu exhaust, when we put blow off valve it lost power.

some cars have blow offvalves, called bypass vlave were air is reused. i think the BOV version is called plumback, but stocker version that comes in subaru, skyline gtt etc etc is called compressor bypass valve. easily missed

get kit from america GReddy, its pretty decent kit, also you can try the NEW topfuel zero 1000 kits but youll have to contact triple 999 auto, as they are distributor so they will know when its hitting streets
