Hi guys,

I was just wondering about different combination of block and heads. Now the question is as above.

Base on my knowledge B18C has vtec and B18B has no vtec. Say I have ECU and looms for the B18C. Can B18C head fit on B18B block? IMO, I don't think so. However, I have some mates who said that as long as its a B series block, you can fit anything on top of that block. Is that true?

Please advise.

Cheers ;)

usually they use a b16 head rather than the b18c to do a LSvtec.

The reason is mainly for costs

b16a head > b18c2 head

I foresee that it is going to be costly by changing the head alone. Think it involves rewiring the looms and computer as well.

b16a head > b18c2 head

oh really.... in what way is the B16a head better?
