i got a call from yonas to tell me he cracked a new PB 11.8@113mph..
thats great news for the all motor seen and honda seen..
a street car going 11s, he was very confident to go 11.7 tonight lets see how it goes..

After some retuned to my Hondata KPRO Ecu , We went out tonight and took EGK24A out to do some test and tuned with some pretty impressive results.
Still a stock internal k24a3 Accord Euro motor + dc5r gearbox
We set the suspension set up different way using a different suspension set up compared to my 11.94 run @ compak attack
After 2nd run tonight We decided to pack up and go home as the weather gets real cold which means no traction @ WSID
867 kg + 62 kg driver = 929 kg tonight


So here is my new PB from tonight 13/8/2008

Yeah it was abit slippery
my 60ft on the 1st run was 1.67sec that was around 6:40 pm
and 2nd run was 1.75 sec at 7.55pm

i thought i saw u beginning to stop pulling away from me,but just thought it was an illusion at the time,but it sorta starts showing up in the times as well, at & beyond the 1000' mark ?

Just came back from WSID test and tuned . Looks like EGK24A is getting stuck at 11.8 for now , it just doesnt want to run faster no matter what I did tonight . Oh well time for cams!

once you run 11.999 sec , you must get ANDRA licence or they wont let you race anymore. I did sneak in in a few street meet but yesterday ANDRA official was really strict

just watch out with lower tyre pressure , you will lose MPH so easy.
I tried few different shifting point from 1st to 2nd to 3rd gear.

just pay them $150 and thats it.

10.999sec licence required alot of things ( medical check up , andra approved roll cage etc etc )

Once you go faster than 11.00 you have to spend approximately $10k to get the car and yourself to a point where you can race again. That is assuming that you can't do it all yourself and you don't have any of the stuff already. Most of that is parts and other necessary equipment. Its not cheap.

Sorry, I wasn't actually saying it was a bad thing. What I have found is the cars with standard compression and bigger cams make the power but down the 1/4 they don't run the numbers. These cars I know of ran faster with standard cams.

Cam install was done by myself and a adjustable exhaust cam gear would have helped fine tune (btw cam timing is spot on you have to be an total ****ing idiot to stuff up cam timing on a k). And let me correct myself someone quite close to you can not time a k series motor as this has been seen on a certain maroon car. Anyways this is not another bitch session happening. This is Yonas's first time out with sponsored Buddy Club product and he will need to play around a little more with it to get it right. Congrats Yonas on your first time out with this set up it will get better.
