Civic radiator support swap

Hey everyone, i just need to swap the radiator support from one eg hatch to another, how many people done it before? My brother welds and i can do almost anything to do with cars but just want a bit of info first.

I think you just get a spot weld removal drill bit and drill out the spot welds, then swap it over

cool, got the old one off, spot weld remover till it went blunt then hammer and chisel, thinking of maybe buying a new radiator support and welding it on instead of removing my one from my other civic, anyone know the cost of a new radiator support? are they a honda only product or is there another generic one?

i bought 1 for an ek it was 320 from honda so an eg should be much the same

cool thanks, i was looking at the one i wanna remove because it was replaced before i can see the spotwelds perfectly so it should be real easy to remove.
