I think he meant fitting the tyre into the rims at $10/each and another $5/each to balance.

depending on the hub diameter & rim hub diameter you might need to buy hub rings to fit in. it will make the rims fit tightly on your hub. happened with mine, i was told to buy 56mm - 74?mm hub rings i think.

$10 a corner fitted sounds cheap, even if you add the $5 for balancing. Ask nicely and they may throw in hubcentric rings for the price. Some say having these rings (if needed) for the front wheels are ok, but I always insist on having all 4.

yes hub rings are important
its were the load of the car is meant to be, not on the lugs.

You usually do a 4 wheel alignment, when you do any sussy adjustments or modifications.. or change rims etc....Plus its not that much more to do a 4 wheel alignment compared to just the front..

Just make sure they provide you with a print out, of whats what..camber,toe,caster etc

bumping an old thread.

How much should I be looking at to replace one tyre with anotherper corner? How much on top of that should I be paying for fitting per corner? Is alignment necessary after changing rims even if they are the same size and tyre rating is the same as stock?

^^^ $10 sud include the tyre being change and fitted plus balance, thats mine was done. if the rims and tyres are same size as stock, i dont see any need for another wheel alignment, though i have heard afew people tell me that if you get new tyres, get another tweak on the wheel alignment for a better longer use of that tyre
