i've recently noticed that the needle on my thermometer stays on C line or close to the C line. After driving for about half an hour the needle rise slightly above the C line. Shouldnt the needle be in the middle of the meter?

also, does the needle normally rest on below the C line when the engine if off?

Youll probably need to change your thermostat like I did.

Cost around 50ish in total for a new theromostat and coolant.

There is a few manuals on the internet that include detailed steps to changing it.
Preety easy.

And yes when the engine is off the sensors turn off aswell making the needle go down.

i think your thermostat is almost on its way out, it should be near the middle.
and yes the water tempt needle will rest below c when the engine is off

increased wear and tear, just like always driving a cold engine.
