centre console removal

Hi guys did a search but coundnt find anything

Was just wondering how do i remove the centre console that surrounds the air con controls and stuff for a civic EM1
are there any hidden screws or something like that? I dun wanna damage it by forcing it

what do u need to remove it for?

i tried doing it on my car when putting the deck in but it wouldnt come off, if ur doing it to put a stereo in u dont need to take off that centre console, if ur doing it for another reason then just ignore what i said hehe

Ive seen an EG one taken out and a dc2 one put in... it wasn't an easy job with all the wirings etc.. let us know how it goes tho

sorry to bring up an old thread, but I was wondering whether anyone knows how I can remove the centre console surrounding the aircon unit etc.

I found this manual.... it does look like alot of work though, was wondering if anyone else has a easier way?

take out the bottom bit where your ash tray is should be couple screws for under it
