Hey guys i'm new here,
I've got a DC5R with a Fujitsubo Power Getter, was thinking of upgrading my headers and i found a spoon header and a j's racing header on ebay.
If you guys have had any experiences or opinions it'd be much appreciated.
Thanks

Those you posted are only 4-2 part of the header.

You still need the 2-1 bit and you stock AUDM one will not fit it properly.

Most people in Australia get TODA, Mugen or Xforce.

yap....as chi said.....that is 4-2 only....you need JDM 2/1 to get them fit......AUDM parts won't fit....

Theres no problem in organising a custom downpipe right?

Downpipe? It's NA.

I'd go J's racing. Spoon stuff is always OEM parts, or copy of OEM parts only bigger. J's Racing have been shining on the race tracks and touges of Japan more recently. They are starting to pick up well.

the 2-1 bit is refered to as the downpipe

spoon do sell the matching 2-1 peice (with resontor no cat), so no need to get one custom made.

you might as well get Toda which goes all the way

Not really.

TODA header you will have to modify to fit a cat to make it legal.

That would be such a waste to cut up such a nice header.

You modify the cat not the header. I've seen people cut the header and for the life of me, I cannot fathom out why.

That's the dumbest thing I've heard. You modify the cat not the header.

the toda header eliminates the cat for the dc5r

so how would you modify the cat?

u either chop the header or chop the b-pipe to fit a cat in

STRAIGHT PIPE FTW!.... just hope you dont get EPA and you'll be fine.

On serious note, as above either cut up headers to fit cat or modify your existing b-pipe to fit cat after header.

But i have seen a dc5r with toda headers with its cat close to the rear mufffler. So that could also work?

Doesn't the Toda come with a test pipe? You can chop the test pipe up and fit a high flow cat in between.

Toda for DC5R is one piece. It has a flex pipe that must be cut off to fit a cat to it.
