If you have the money to do it then why not! They will be a big contender in making the whole package work together a lot nicer! Plus you have the head off anyway so you may as well.:D

Not really. Taking the head off is one thing. Replacing pistons is another.
If you have the complete head. Put it on and done.
If your gonna pull it all apart and replace pistons there are much better options than itr ones.
Depends what you wanna do.

What would you say the better options are because i was interested in buying a complete ITR head myself.
Would CTR pistons, cams and shaft be any better than ITR ones?

Yeh, definatly CTR pistons if you want to stay Oem, but lots of other aftermarket options. Not sure with ITR vs CTR cams, but again heaps of other aftermarket options.

I was thinking of doing the same in my vtir, but decided to do a fully built B20. You might want to look into changing intake manifold to either a ITR or aftermarket one. As the vtir manifold is very restrictive I found. Just another cheap upgrade and it should go heaps better. Good luck with it :)

J's racing use CTR camshafts and pistons in their their Touge DC2R (B18C7).
There is better stuff out there. A nice set of Mahle pistons would be perfect. But if you start building the engine... where do you stop? That is the question.
If you change the cams, you'll go cam gears, valve springs, the OEM CTR cams won't be good enough for you, so you'll upgrade to Toda B or the likes... and it kepps going. Never ending cycle.
