DC4 dome light size

What size is the dc4 interior dome light?

i've search online and it come ups with 3022 size 31mm light...

how ever i took my dome light out and measured with a proper tool and it measures 28mm..

i want to change my light form the dull yellow to a white or blue. so will the 31mm bulb fit?

my EG's dome light uses 31mm...and as far as i know, that's the shortest length for any dome light...

did u measure only the bulb/glass bit or from one metal tip to the other?

i measured from tip to tip...

i went to supercheap, and autobarn today and they dont stock much 28mm globes.. and most of the globes are 10W but dome light is suppose to be 5W
