Would that kill my warranty??? Also I got informed that I shouldn't be revving over 4000 rpms for the first 10,000kms... cause it's a new engine... Can anyone confirm that??? or have something to say about that???

Hey

Looks tops

Revving - yeah, new engine, keep the revs as low as possible, let the engine run in - it will feel really gutless while it is running in, just wait til it gets some kays up and it will feel really good. 4000rpm might be a little conservative, but if you hadCVT, it would be safer to aim for 4000rpm as the revs jump up quickly. As yours is a manual, be careful and keep the revs low, but you can sfely go to 5000rpm, but I'd leave it at that for a while...

very nice

revving - yes, take it easy for the first few K's. For me, i only "baby" the car for the first 1000kms .. heh  .. before driving it "normally". mind you, i don't hit redline all the time.

ALSO .. altho' Honda recommends oil filter + oil change at 10000kms, I suggest you do so at 5000kms. Just to be on the safe side, seeing that the engine is new and all that.

Lowered suspension will only void warranty on the associated parts. For example, if you change the springs, the warranty on your shocks will be void, and so forth.

It won't void the warranty on the entire car.

Change your oil and filter at 1,000km, then at least every 5000km after that. At the second change, change your oil to full synthetic and use that from then on...make sure you change your filter with every oil change.

Congrats on the new ride

Yeah... I'm keepin it safe... I can already feel the engine kickin in hehehe and I've only done 550kms... But yeah not gonna push it till i get over 8000kms... But yeah the guys at honda said first service is at 1000kms... then 10 and 20k kms

Don't wait for 10 and 20 if you can....

Also you won't need to wait until 8,000km to drive it properly. I have just hit 8k on mine and it is more than fine now....4,000-5,000 should be more than enough. Change the oil at 5,000 and then you'll be right to go hard....

Mine felt really good after about 3,000km.

felixr, you don't happen to live at Homebush do you?

Does your car have red number plates XX-18-XX (the 'Xs' are just there to cover your real plate)
