40RGD first time out with new setup,new pb!!

Went out last night only got 3 runs in VERY BUSY!

launching at 2-3K and driving it off the line(cant get traction anymore)

tyres where same as last time micky t street radials

1st: 12.2 @ 117 with 2.2 60ft

2nd 12.7 @ 118 with 2.4 60ft (couldnt find 2nd)

3rd 11.95 @ 119 with 2.1 60ft pretty happy for the first time out:)

Thats huge mph. You must be making some serious power...like 180kwatw+. Taking into account you'll drop a few mph when you get some grip off the line your looking at mid-low 11's. That will slot you nicely into 2nd of the Honda boys.

Yes. 4 mph only ahead. That is not a lot. But as the mph and ET show, when you get to that speed you need a decent setup to get the ET. The car is obviously making the power but will need some time to get the ET's down.

Any chance of more mph? 120+ = possible 10's. :thumbsup:

i bummed out on the first round today with a sheared passenger outer cv.

The car needs to be set up right,all the camber, steering is way out. Im fighting to keep it straight through 1st and 2nd,plus i need more seat time period.

yesterday(saturday) went:
1/11.51@117.6mile 1.78 60ft
2/ tried preloading a little,i dont know why i did its a no show using this clutch so i jumped the line and went for a cruise
3/ 11.49@117.8mile 1.76 60ft

Reason why i trailered the car for those concerned people is because:

Its runnning 109 octane on current tune(no time for other tune atm,109 is $$ and to achieve full potential the engine needs it due to the compression ratio)
and i hate setting up the car out at the track

Ill be heading out again soon to text a few things and try to eliminate issues im having.

Don't go too drastic on the weight reduction just yet. Get some laps in the car while your still in the 11's. Because once your in the 10's that will be it for a while.

I can't afford to hold off changing it back to how it was, been putting it off as it is. Regarding the rear bar.. Tim grey has a better rear bar design I think
