I was just wondering if 6x9's are able to be mounted into the back to replace stock speakers in a 2000 model CRV Sport

Thanks

remove ur stock speakers so that u can see the size of the speaker hole

if its too small, ull have to cut it wider. Depending on what ur parcel shelf is made of, that may or may not be allowed

cutting holes is generally something u can get defected for

otherwise ull have to use spacers, which work well enough, but they will stick out alot more

The stock rears are only 6.5". As is the plastic covers and speaker hole size around it. You'd need to cut to make 6x9s fit, and use spacers which as mentioned above will stick out more.

alright, if they are 6.5" stock , front and rear, would i be suggested getting a clean fit in, with 4x 6.5" 's

because i'm not getting amp or sub for now, just headunit + speaker upgrade from stock, and looking for loud + bass 'ey quality,

any recommendations?
