FN2R Ipod Adaptor

If the car didn't come with this option, is there anyway around it? is it just a cable that pluggs somewhere behind the player or somthing along those lines?

I don't have it and I want it, havn't called dealers yet wanted to see if anyone did it them selfs.

i bought x carlink off ebay and the guy said it will work in the fn2 after i took apart the car just to install the ipod adapter, guess what it didnt work, what a waste of time. I think u can get UK brands ipod adapter but u wont find one in australia. Unless u want to go with fm tuners but they dont sound good

when you opend your dash, did you see what sort of plug it needs? doubt it would be USB? any ideas on how much it is at the dealer?

ohhhh, well i have no clue then, i know on most hondas they will put an aftermarket one in if u want so might be worth it to go into ur local service shop and see what they can do. otherwise i got no clue

after market one is much cheaper u can get one for less than $200, but with the trouble of opening the dash just spend more money and get the oem honda one

ya the behind the dash ones dont look so sharp imo anyways, just a random cable coming out the side of ur dash, looks poor i think, but ur call in the end

just get dension ice link and get a car audio place to install it...

or u could save like 400 bux either way, and convert all ur mp3s to cds, u can get like 50 cds for 5 bux these days lol. bit more inconvienient but cheaper :P

but im lazy and dont want to burn cds and have the hassle of looking through cds trying to find the song i want when an ipod has it right there infront of you

ya i guess im just not a huge ipoder, i mean how many of the 4g of songs do u really listen to, at any one time im probably only listening to 40 or so songs that im big on at the time, ide rather save my 500 and start mods then on a plug for an ipod but i guess everyones different

I bought a hon2y USA spec for 115 bucks from enfig shipped from USA.
Better then dension but dice is the best for 145 bucks.

I can't believe Honda's pricing on this thing. $550 is what i was quoted for the cable to be installed and lead to the glovebox as an accessory at time of purchase.
