DC5 Tyre recommendations

Heya peeps,

I need new tyres but I know nothing about them. I'm trying to save money since stopping work(more time to study) so I want a set that is affordable but not dangerously cheap. Not after high performance tyres either.

Honda wants $200/tyre but is there any decent ones I can get for $100-150ish?

What tyres would you guys recommend for stock 16" rims and where you get them? (southside/westside area of brisbane if possible) and is there any places I should stay away from aswell?

i'm guessing you're after replacement tyres for the base model DC5, hence why they are only $200 each.

For something cheap I would suggest Nexen N3000, a friend of mine has them on his TypeS in 17" and i'm quite impressed by them, not very grippy, but competent. Low road noise, which I loved.

If you want something grippy, and cheap, I'd suggest Federal 595 but stay away from these if you want a quiet tyre. This tyre is very very very noisy.
