Hi guys,

So it's been established that DC2R steering rack can be fitted up to the EG, but what parts are required for a successful change over?

For example, there are a number of tubes and fittings that hook up to the steering rack, are these things the same on both racks, or are they required from the DC2R as well?

Also, anyone know what the rack ratio is (or no. of turns lock-to-lock) for the standard EG and the DC2R in comparison?

Thanks

Shiraz

around 3.4 turns for the eg and 2.9 turns lock to lock for the dc2r, that's my observation on my cars. 2.9 lot better than 3.4 but still far from quick steering.

just get a suspension specialist in your area who does this sort of work for panel beaters everyday, and often cost less than an average mechanic due to their efficency and they can align the front wheels at the same time.
