hi i have an ej8 and just bought a mugen style CF front lip.

the thing doesnt completely wrap around the base of the front bar. in fact i think it's 2 inches short of the the length that it should be. is this normal?

The ends should sit in under the front guards (in the wheel wells).

hey, yea i bought a replica lip to for my 00 coupe and it wasn't a flush fit, had to really force it into place and screw it in the same time or else it would stay...

but all replica lips are like that, never fit perfect.

ywh with mine it wasnt flush, used a lot of force to get it on and had a freind hold it in place while i screwed it on

anyways yeh ill upload pics today at lunch... i'm about to take the front bar off now to try to squeeze this ****er on.

Did you buy a lip that was suited for your gen civic Irvs?
As in.. did you buy a prefacelifted lip?
A facelifted one wont fit on an EJ8.
