another day driving home from a hard days work, little did i know today would be so very different, My short episode begins with this girl crossing the road, i indistinctively slowed down to allow her to cross, being a bloke and including the fact she was wearing tights (gym down road) i gave her my 3.29 seconds of attention, in this moment of solitude i noticed a HUGE warehouse on the side of the road, living in Bankstown i was half dumb stuck and half surprised that a place of this calibre was down the street, i check out the site and i was let down to find no kits for our rice mobilies!
this finally leads to my question as i feel i have dragged this on too long, anyone had any experience with this company or have pieced together parts from GCG in Bankstown for a Honda specifically, if so what car was it and how much did it cost?

GCG are ok. I have got a few things though them. Very helpfull etc. A lot of the time they don't have things in stock which is anoying.

GCG is where you get most Garrett products. Not the cheapest but they sell most of the good stuff

I got my turbo from GCG. Along with a few gaskets and flanges.
I didn't spend that much extra compared to buying it overseas, and i get an aussie warranty and the most important part of my setup.
pics of girl crossing street?
i use to work for gcg, while i was there i was pushing to put together bolt on turbo kits for hondas.... i was half way through putting kits together when i got offered a job elsewere.... i dont think much happend to the turbo kit after that, i heard they started splitting the kits and selling the parts off.
if you are thinking off turbocharging your car, or require parts from gcg michael is the person to speak to!

was she hot?????
i dont think i would ever bothering with items in aus because the states exchange rate is mint
its not about gcg being good, its about them being the only ones really... if u need parts, and need them fast, you can settle for gcg items. but like most things in australia, dont expect to get good prices/availibility on anything that isnt for stock turbo cars. there isnt enough demand.
IE. ford 5bolt flange, $80 from gcg. $20 imported from US.
IE. they do fairly competitive turbo upgrades for stock turbo cars. wrx, skyline bolton jobs that undercut jap items.
IMO though, the manifolds they sell/brand/xtr are no better then the ebay jap crap ssac style. rebranded chinese made items - IMO from what ive seen in person.
