ek9/dc2r/dc5r seats

I'm wanting to put low seat rails in my ek1.I have ek4 seats.I have found out this is not possible since they don't make them but the ek9/dc2r/dc5r seats will fit and you can get low rails.
So I'm wanting to know what these seats are like etc so it can help me decide what ones to get.

Hey, I got DC2R seats in my EM1 and to fit these seats u need the EK9 rails which will fit into ur EK and if you want low rails I'd recommend vision rails from JDM Yard.

There the same rails I have and man they do sit really low!

Each one of these seats are pretty comfortable and hold you in nicely as they are bucket seats

i got sr4 recaros on super lows on my em1

im about 165/170cms tall

and i cant see my bonnet wheni drive, although when i had stock seats, felts like i was on a 4wd.

* just giving u an idea of super lows if u decide to go that low

hahah i dont think u can fit vision or ek9 rails onto OEM seats.

best luck would be to cut and reweld the stock rails!

yea the rails i mentioned are for ek9/dc2r/dc5r seats

you can probably try get custom rails for your OEM seats but i dont know where and how much, sorry

but yea the vision rails for the ek9/dc2r/dc5r seats will sit u nice and low. I'm 190 and i can just see the bonnet haha but you will love how low you will sit, different driving experience too hey

the DC5R recaros from my experience with vision rails are pimp as, soo good at ass hugging and mighty low, mate just installed them in the EM1, for the money very very nice

hell no, way too low lol, I'm 6'7" and have a hard time seeing all in them lol

yer i was gonna say this reading before bro~have super low seating in wrx before~i couldnt see properly but as 1.6 said it feels gangster as~hard to park if you are going to hit something at the front lol.

i love it! makes it feel like the dash is high like the dc5 series :D

it doesnt matter which 1 u get, its your choice of height on driving.

would suggest getting lows if u dont want to dropt o much, but stock height with recaros is like being in a 4wd

Yes ek9 rails fit caro's, most of the recaro bolt points are exactly the same, its just the shape of the rail that differs from car to car

bride also make lowered seat rails as well.. u coudl try getting them..
or even just get ek9 seats and bolt them in first to see how low they are to begin with and if u want lower try the bride ones.

lol, im 190cm and they are too low for road use, u can barely see and do shoulder checks in an EM1

but for sexspec and prestigeness, being low isnt too bad very gangster look, just hate not seeing shit which is why I also have a wide angle mirror attachment :)

Yes the Bride rails will fit, Recaro rails are better though.

Other options you have are eBay, there's a few Genuine DC2R rails overseas currently for around the $250 mark and of course you could always look through Yahoo Japan and go through a broker like Jesse Streeter.

it depends on how low/high do you want to sit? the brides will give you a pretty low (if i'm not mistaken, about 30mm lower than stock) seating position where as the recaros (stock i'm presuming) will give you a normal/stock seating position.
