DA6/XSi owner pls help

g'day, would just like any DA6/XSi vin number to assist in ordering parts from honda. i have a da9 with integra b16a conversion and its a real bitch trying to explain to the parts dept everytime i want something. cheers

yeah thats how ive been getting by, but but the look on the guys face is worrying, his response is always do you have the VIN? even though ive just explained the whole deal, i just reckon that im gonna end up with the wrong crap sooner or later

Which Honda dealer are you going to?

i usually go penrith for genuine honda bits, but get the same thing everywhere

yeah i'm not completely fluent in civic so i just say dohc vtec civic! but is there any engine parts that would be slightly different on later model b16's? eg i think ive gotta get some cam seals soon, or possibly things to do with the electrics being different obd?

I always say "93 Honda CRX" which is easiest since all Australian models came out with b16's. Everything has been compatible so far, even the full gasket set.

Aus Honda don't recognise the import vin number, they think you're missing numbers off the end because it is shorter and the compliance vin number is useless to them.
