I dont know if you guys are having this issue. I've got an INJEN intake chuck onto my dc5r. I get water splashing into the intake when driving in the wet.
Theres this product from injen called the 'hydro shield' and solves the problem. I got it from ebay.
Thought this might be handy info, as i've been searching everywhere to fix this issue.

unless the whole pod is submerged in water then i doubt water will enter the engine and if it was half sunmerged even then it would have trouble picking the water up as its denser than air.... the hydro shield is a good idea anyway and if your extreeamly worried aem have a bypass valve that goes before throttle body.... but just dont drive through puddles high that your pods positioned and you will be fine with splashs etc

its got to be big enough to cover the pod so measure the size k&n also make a cover to keep water out
