unplug vafc

im not planning on keeping my vafc i want to upgrade asap.


my question is if i totally unplug it from the ecu and move the hand set to a better location will it still hold the data input by the tuner???

i ask this cause i cant move it to where i want it with the cable where it is.

yes it should. it would be like removing the battery, it would keep its memory.

i removed the battery terminals for 1hr installing my CAI. vafc settings didnt get erased.
