Since your Have the H23a in your prelude, swapping in the H22a is a bolt in process using all your factory mounts etc.

2.5k is not a bad price if it includes gearbox and ECU.

Another option is to build yourself a H23a VTEC buy swapping the h22a Head etc onto
your H23a block.

Try contacting a few workshop/traders in your area to get a quote on either motor.

In a simple answer yes.

You may require the H22a Piston & rods also.

This will require the H22a ECU & Gearbox aswell & axles & intermediate shaft also.

h22a halfcut around 2.5-3k... change everything over... especially gearbox straight forward conversion

dont bother with the hybrid. too much effort needed doing that. besides there aren't many mechanics with that sort of experience apart from those in the states.

RX kit for the H22 can get to 500 HP!!!

dude, go to a wreckers and grab a blue top VTEC head and stick it straight onto your H23, get ecu, gearbox, pistons etc the little things. much better than dropping a H22 in (engine mount problems with different year) plus the blue top is rare and you may need to pay a bit extra for it but it's worth it!
