Hey just wondering, im thinkin about getting some halos with HIDS for a DC2, but ive heard that if i get the US ones the cutoff will be the wrong way (being opposite sides of the road) and will blind like the devil. Ive also heard that modding lights in any way will be defective is that true? Ya i know noob but gotta learn somehow

also looking at doing the tail lights with black finish to spruce up the rear end (red lights on red car=not so bold looking)

ive looked around and seems like the only place to get them are from The US, does anyone know if u can get them here?

i want to avoid having to retrofit a bmw kit or something like that if at all possible as im pretty illiterate in the diy dept.

thanks for the help in advance

Anything you do to modify a stock car/part is defectable.

HIDs cutoff being the wrong way cause of opposite side of the road? I don't really know about you but to my understanding HID's pointed straight ahead not left or right.

You can try modding your lights and such but don't go overboard with black tail lights or modded front lights as they can attract cop attention quite easily at night.

yes i believe if you replace the entire headlight then you will have to deal with flipping the cut off shields, but since it is just a hid kit there shouldnt be an issue. to the best of my understanding the cut of shield is a part of the headlight housing itself.

and yes if you buy headlights from the us the cut off will be the wrong way around coz apparently we drive on the wrong side of the road lol.
