Simple question, will the type r bar fit on a dc4?
I know they changed in 98 was it or something? so if I bought an older one would it fit my teg (94)?
Also is the colour of the white type r's the same as the dc4's?
cheers

Yes you can facelift your car to Type R.
Type R white is off white called Championship White
Normal Integras are Frost White.

To convert from prefacelift to facelift, you'll need to replace
a) headlights
b) indicators
c) front bar and/or lip
All the above are interchangeable between generations, HOWEVER, all 3 items must be from the the same yr range to fit properly.
Also, in Aust, ALL the type r's were facelift.
CW white is on the type r's, Frost white is on the GSi.. very different whites altogether.

Grand prix white, is from the s2k.. not the GSi's...
If you can confirm that it is indeed GP white, then ur car mustve been resprayed that.

Are all honda integra's other than the type r that are white, frost white from factory?
i know theres heaps of different codes of frost white and was just wondering if they all are the same color from factory? im getting a bonnet from another frost white integra and just hope that its the same color as mine
[sorry to hijack the thread for this one second! but just to confirm, you only need the 3 items stated above to facelift your car.
Dc's built from 93 - 97 will have the prefacelift front and rear bar.
Integra's 98 onwards will have the facelift (same as type r front).]

Frost white = frost white...
There should only be one color code for this white; NH538.
There are NOT heaps of DIFFERENT codes for frost white... i dont know where you got that info from.
Just think about that for a second, how stupid would Honda have to be to name different shades of white, the same name? :)
haha ok... let me rephrase what i said.
Within the code NH538 aka frost white, arnt there a couple of variances within?
as in NH538.1 = dull frost white
NH538.2 = brighter frost white?
my dc4 is frost white and so is my gf's civic. though they are different shades of white.
when i went to get my side skirts sprayed, the guy told me that he had to match my frost white to the specific frost white which was the more darker shade of white.
unless my car is just faded and they had to mix the paint im not sure. i just wanted to make sure because im about to buy a bonnet from another teg suposedly frost white and was hoping that they would be the same color lol.
Thanks for the input though
