Hey Guys,

Lately it seems as if the shifts are a little rougher than normal. About half the time the shifts are smooth as silk and other times it feels like a split second gear grind (kind of like it caught the corner before engaging) but it's not grinding. I know I'm pushing the clutch in enough but it feels like I'm not sometimes.

i've had my service done and it was smooth at first but it's starting to get all notchy again?

is this normal for you guys or something up with my s2?

should i have my transmission fluid flushed out and have a new fluid i guess?

Thanks.

make sure you use the right oil thickness for your gearbox. i tried using redline antishockproof and it didnt feel as right as genuine honda oil.

just get your gearbox oil changed and see how you go, im pretty sure its just the oil's abit old.

Change using Honda MTF. Bleed the clutch cylinder a little bit too.

I had the same thing. Went to Honda MTF and it went away. I did notice a little bit of wetness around my clutch master cylinder inside on the firewall......Grr at 42000 kms! Topped up and bleed it seems ok for now.......

I had the same problem in my s2k, if HONDA MTF doesnt work, try ENDLESS gearbox oil worked for me, also you can actually feel the LSD kick in with endless.

Wasn't aware that there was an LSD in the gearbox? or do you mean something else?

Yeah, the LSD is in the rear diff, not in the gearbox.
