Hi guys,
Had a quick search but nothing came up that helped me. I'm getting some 17x7.5 Gramlights 57 Optimise in Time Attack style, and there are 3 offsets listed: +33, +43, and +50. They are going on a DC5S and I haven't been able to work out which one I need. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Get the +33 and run a 215 tyre and you will fine on stock guards as long as you are not dumped with zero camber. The lower offset will look more flush with the guards. I would run -1.5 rear camber, and -2.5 front for appearance and better handling.
If you wish to run a 225 or 235 tyre on these wheels you may require guard rolling.
+33 will be fine for 17x7.5 + 225.

Depending how much you lower the car, you wont need to roll the guards.

Dont get +43 or +50, they are too weak to buy.lol

Thanks guys!
I'm planning on going with Tein super streets. I'm not planning on dumping it on its arse, just want great handling and no 4x4 look lol. I will most likely go with a 215 tyre.

Hmmm sorry a noob question, but what are the limits as to how wide of a tyre you can use with any particular wheel?
With the example above, would the 215,225,235 tyres all fit on the 7.5" wheel without any worries whatsoever?
Thanks ;D

Yes. According to most tyre manufacturers any of those tyres is safe to fit to a 7.5" wide wheel. If you want the best performance it is probably advisable to stick to the middle of the recommended wheel width for a given tyre. Every manufacturer will specify an approved range of rim widths for a tyre to be fitted to.

Oooh i see!
Yeah cause when I bought the car, it came with some 18x7.5 wheels, with 215/35/18 crap nexens on them, and i couldn't really find any good tyres to replace them
but anyway, thanks for the advice =)
