Hi,
I heard about the push button to start your car, and wondering, is it possible to get this modification done on the civic my08 vti. I reckon that would be trendy as. Just looking for ideas to pimp this model up lol

i think this is a rather stupid mod....
u still need to put the key in anyway...and u want to do all this crap just to start the car by a turn of the key and the push of a button! lol
it will prob be quicker just to start the car with the key lol
oh well its ur car lol

yeah, if you dont have to put your key in that would be nice... but you still have to cary the key with you to make it start, otherwise every1 can start your car (e.g. car thief).
Hm... remind me of that Lancer VRX ad on TV... "door open, door locked" they should have "engine start, engine off" (turn your engine without pluggin the key)

you can disable key start~and have it completely button start.
if u want cool effect go buy a viper alarm system~turn the car on without even getting in~and i guess it counts as button start

It's great though if you have the after market fog lights, you can just put the switch on the empty button next to the start button.

viper alarm have a module to bypass the immobilizer.
quite risky in this time to have your immo. bypassed

just void electrical warranty, but it's hard to get faulty for electrical system. anyway, the case is like you install aftermarket alarm such viper, clifford, etc.

Hi
Is there a DIY guide for installing this pushstart button?
imo the coolness of start button was with like luxury cars and the card-key which doesn't need to be inserted and hence making it much quicker/easier to just sit in car and press to start. having to put the key in and then press the button feels like a waste of time. *shrugs* but it looks cool from afar!
