Automatic gear stick boot

Hey don't know what happened here but my AT gear stick boot all of a sudden coming down...I've tried to put it back up but wont stay/clip in.

Anyone know how to do/fix this ?

Oh no. Not another problem LXRY. Have you lost count yet? Is your car still under warranty? You should go back and bug the dealer again!!

when you push it back up, does it just fall back down?

the clip either is loose or broke.
btw go back to the dealer and bug them.

shouldn't be an issue, my dealer on the ball ;)

Nah won't clip in, not sure how it happened put my hand their and just came down and won't stay up, thought their might be some trick to it.......hmmmmm

let me have a guess, the bottom section might twist up and lock into the top section.

tried twisting it doesn't work damn it, time for the dealer, lol.....
