hey guys and gals...

sorry to bring up an old topic again but what are the general opinions on this mod?? (specifically the "accord" and "euro" badges)

rice or nice??

also, what about replacing the badges if ever necessary?? has anyone done that before...?? what's the deal there?? and you reckon dealers do replacement badges at all??

cheers!

yeah do it

accord and euro badge are easy to remove. Honda "H" hasd holes behind it.

Yes your dealer would have replacement badges in their parts book, or u could just by mine :)

debadge it bloke, it would look cool. Use a heat gun and gently heat up the badge. Use dental floss to cut the badge off then use thinners to get rid of the glue left behind. easy.

Damn thats pretty technical on removing Badges Matt...

Its personal preference... but then when u realise how much those badges Honda are charging in their parts department,

1) Make sure u remember to keep them in a safe place....
2) Remember where u kept it in the first place

I spose you could just get the screwdriver out! I did it to a m3 once, it came off real easy......... (now it looks cool, and debadged:))

I don't regret debadging my Euro. I think the car looks much better without the Accord Euro badge.

any easier ways to debadge, rather than using a heat gun? :b

just use the floss and cut it off. the heat gun just helps unstick the glue.

Lookin sweet Yoram!

yep, looks good.

If it was only glued on, you won't need to vist a dealer if you ever want to put it back, just glue it on again. How about one of those EuroR badges?

(at an angle for an extra 15 KW - perhaps not !)

it is like aryldite (2 part epoxy resin) crap. Euro r badges would be cool, but I would want the recaro interior and engine that comes with it!

hahahaha..

i'd personally prefer to have a more torque over top end kW.

bit ricaro's would be nice.. mmmm

just floss it off and then remove sticky residue with fingers, eucalyptus and polish.

No joke it took me 5 mins to do mine.

All to easy

Personally, I don't see the point in debadging.
It just creates a lot of hassle and also risk damaging the car while debadging.
It doesn't look any better in my eyes.
I think the people who debadge the front Honda badge actually makes their car look ridiculous with a large empty front grille.

yep - Albert Park.

h2n - it also took me ages to get that sticky stuff off! I didn't want to use any chemicals or thinners - I just kept rubbing it for ages....

I've had my Accord debadged for a while. Certainly looks good and sorta "different" (as there are sooo many Accord Euro's out there).

If I end up debadging it, I'll stick my euroR badge :D
Got it for a while, haven't sticked it yet cause it looks too ricey. But maybe it adds 5 more kw? hahahaha :D

i guess its all personal preference, but i really like the debagged look, i guess it just simplifies everything, the simplier the better... cleaner lines!! mmmmm....
