[CL9] Map light bulb replacement

Guys,

The maplight in my 06 Lux has blown - the roof lights above the mirror.
I have read that a number of guys in here have replaced them with LEDs, which i may do one day, but for now, how to remove the bulb...?

use flat head screwdriver and pry out the cover gently.
so you can gain access to the festoon(25 or 30mm *use the euro help guide* ) bulbs.

if you DIY make sure you use suitable LED + resistor (with correct value).

there is a slight slot on the sid eof the clear cover, place the flat head screw driver in there and slowly and gently pry it open, remember be gentle as you do not want to break the cover.

replace with a 31mm or in some cases 30mm festoon bulb filament or led it's up to you however if you are going for an led bulb ensure you get one with a high power led in it and replace the rear one also so it doesn't look odd.
