Few of the guys here in Perth, including myself are pioneering these ECU's for Australian conditions on 3 types of motors, B18, B20 and D16A Boosted.

here are some screen shots of what you get in the program for setting this thing up.

Taken from CRX Club of WA forums.

--- ---- ---- ---- ----

There is a Help page that has some of the basics (it is very basic help) of moving around and making adjustments etc:
http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/6345/helpnj4.jpg

Fuelling values can be shown in a table form:
http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/2982/fuelnumzw7.jpg

or in a graphical form (one RPM at a time - this one is the 1000 RPM curve)
http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/8246/fuelgrphmd8.jpg
Both the above are showing 9 load sites - it is possible to place an extra load site between each of these, giving 17 load sites. This could be required for boosted applications which might be a bit unstable or where things change rapidly?

Similarly, the ignition table:

and graphic views:
http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/7686/igngrphdh6.jpg
It could be considered a 'weakness' that there are "only" five load sites for ignition timing? I don't think it is really, the points set up the trends, the trends are likely to be stable/repeatable.

This is the Main Set-up page, where you basically setting up what type of engine etc etc

I'll touch more on specifics on these later in the thread.

Setting up the Sensors (ie enabling the ECU to interperet the info from the sensors); calibrating the TPS etc

Compensation settings (adjusting for coolant and air temps and voltage:

Outputs setup (ie VTak y0!)

File management page (uploading, and downloading etc...)
http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/7374/fileoptionsip5.jpg

This is the "Data page" ie the page that summarises what is happening when you just want to monitor everything

and finally the datalogging page:

Also any details on the features? i.e launch control, no. of tunable points??

FULL ECU.

it does have launch control as one of the options.

is this under your programming and marketing license , or is this a freebie like chrome etc?
If its freeware for everyone to study and use keep with it !

cool is it plug&play (obd1 or obd2) or does it need to be wired in?

its not a freebie by all means - we bought them from a supplier in South Africa but these work out to be only around $300 per stand alone ECU.
Brett - one of the guys who has one of these ECU's is working out the program (hence the screenshots) - we will take the cars to get tuned on a dyno as well.

Limbo: it has to be spliced in or use another harness to piggyback

hey dude since its not considered freeware this is plain advertising the product for sale.

if you want to consider any more info or marketing this product (including EOI etc) consider becoming a trader. Otherwise keep this out of ozhonda.
