hey guys, just having a bit of problem with my car.

after warming up my car, on 1st gear as i take off on 2000 rpm its starts lagging, past 2500 rpm it starts to run fine.
then on to 2nd gear and it start happening again, buy it only happens on 1st n 2nd, on third its fine...

has anyone had this this experience before?
now i just recently change my spark plugs about 3 weeks ago, could this be the problem of it. or could it be something else???

help please!!!

lagging ?
do the revs rise but the car feels slow or slipping ? (worn slipping clutch)
or do the revs chug then rev fine after the described rpms ?

make sure your spark lug leads are firmly CLICKED onto the dizzy and also the spark lugs themselves too

Dirty throttle body? Butterfly sticking? Try cleaning it with throttle body cleaner.

Or like Ben said, could be worn clutch/synchros

thanx bennjamin:thumbsup:, i just checked the leads again and i notice it was a bit moist.
i think a bit of water got in when i cleaned my engine bay..
i gave the plugs a good clean n i think its running back to normal. (i hope):o

but you guy's think it'll damage anything???

but thanx for the help guys:thumbsup::thumbsup:

sound like bogging, check dizzy & sparkplug area for more water. Once you clean it out its fine. An Air gun is best, but otherwise just keep wiping

If it was only a short-term than its ok

if water gets in the sparkies, usually you lose power at high revs. earth55's problem is the other way around.

but stranger things have happened lolol
