I've had a quick read around and just have one question. Which is better for my B18A1? I know someone who has both B16A Vtec and B18C vtec heads. I feel like the B18 is the logical choice, but need confirmation.

Are they not both PR3?

PR3? Sorry not too car-savvy.

the B16 head flows better in stock trim. The B18C results in a higher compression ratio.

Its your call

I went the B18C because it has slightly more torque, better for daily driving.....

hey i reckon go a B18C block and a B16A head, apparetly u get more power that way, not too sure abotu it, cos the b16a head is beta, cos the b16a and the b18c5 or b18c7 is like the only enginest that make mor than 100Hp per litre, so i think the b16A head is quicker revving. with the B18C block which is more torque, apparently my mate was reading in this mag and someone got 130 KWs at the wheels with that frankenstein setup (which is the B18C block with B16A head, but the bigger franekenstein is beta B20Z or B20B block with B16A head, but that one cane be unstable).
