Hi mate!

If there were meant to be holes drilled to accomodate the pods, you'll need to take the rear bar off and check on the inside. If there are OEM holes, they will be marked by a small circle approx 7mm in diameter, with slightly raised 'pimples' on the surface, and a larger dot exactly at the centre.

They're very hard to spot, might even be worth getting a little metho and wiping the black grime away from the area.

Cheers! Dan.

Thats annoying, I would have thought there might be some marks for the holes.

When I was working on my EK, I got a EK9 rear lip and wondered for a little while about how I was going to get the holes to be accurate enough so that the lip sits snug against the bar - then on closer inspection after a little wipe-down on the inside of a stocko-standard EK1 rear bar, I found the markers for the holes!

Cheers, D.

Hey bro...

i just drilled my own holes into the bar..

one screw into the wheel well area and another screw into the slot where it wraps into the air dam!

it was easy... when holding the pods up against the bar, it might not look like its a perfect fit but once you screw the pods on, you can adjust them to make them fit tight.

hope that helped

thanks mate, but i got oem ones, so i dont have to screw them from the outside.............................

i got all the brackets and nuts and bolts with them.................so i just need the template, coz im either blind and cant see the dimples to drill, or they are not there

There is no dimples. You need to drill a hole, approx where the Pods align. Peter from Bodyform, did mine whilst the rear bar was on the car. It took him 20 mins to do, first time aswell. He's GOOD! Quite annoying, how the measurement tool that honda give you is a piece of a paper to align the holes. And that's all. If I were to be doing it myself, i'd fail miserably. Good luck mate.

VTECMACHINE - how can u measure and mark to dril, whilst the bar is on the car????

blulude98- i got power, so no need to worri about weight, unlike ur car.............hehehehehe......lol

There is no nipple. You just need to drill through the middle of the bar. But aligning the brackets on the pods. Like I said.. Peter from Body form is good - but he's in Sydney. He'd probs only charge like $40, and have them done in 20 minute.
