Its going to cost me

$1500 for the rims 20x8.5
$US 890 for Postage
Plus what ever custom fees i get charged.

so im guessing around $2500 for them
Do you reckon its worth it or does anyone know any replicas out there.

Those wheels must be very heavy or you are getting raped on postage. I got 4 16" steel wheels sent from the US for $300 or so.

They look decent on the car if that look is your thing.

Take into account that a decent 20" tyre is going to be quite expensive.

The rims look awesome bro, it is a fair bit pricey, perhaps call up a few local wheel shops n c if they can supply em, u'll prolly save a bit if they do.

Tyres r gna kill u man, at least $300 a pop if ur goin 4 a decent brand.

yeh well Jax quick fit tyres said they dont know anything about them and couldnt find anybody who knew anything about them.

Bob Jane said they are gonna find out of this guy who is pretty dodgy as long as i didnt mind if some dodgy guy imported them so yeh...

Tyres i know are gonna be pretty pricey im getting 235/30Z R20. Falken FK 452 $220 each which is pretty good deal...

chargeR - can i ask what postage company u used... mine are coming from jakarta so its less distance then us if it makes a difference...
Rims are 15.1kg each

The company that manufactured my wheels, Diamond Racing, sent them for me. I believe they used DHL or one of the major courier companies but I threw out all the paperwork that came with them so I can't be sure. My wheels were much lighter though and smaller so your price is not unreasonable I guess.

nice wheels but expensive to get them in <-- not as expensive as Rays CE28N though.

using my calculation from the import tax thread.
assuming your scenario,

Total Customs Value = $1500

Total Duty Payable (10% of customs value) = $150

Total GST Payable (10% of Total of Customs Value + Duty Payable + Shipping/Insurance Cost) = 10% x ($1500 + $150 + $890) = $254

Declaration Processing Charge (Fixed amount charged) = $48.85

Total Payable = Customs Value + Duty Payable + GST Payable + Declaration Processing Charge = $452.85

in addition to your $1500 and $890 shipping.

Total you will spend would be $2842.85USD. <--- assuming it's in USD dollars

Please note this is rough a estimation and due to economic changes or commercial amendments in costs or process, will not be held against my calculation. Only for insight on the costs you will be required to pay. This calc is a template from me importing Tein monoflex +/- 40kg, yours may be more expensive cause they would be +/- 60kg.

Vertini Hennessy's are nearly the same. They got 10 spoke instead of 8.
Close to the look you are going for.

Was that from the msn I gave you ? try UNIAIR cargo dude it only cost my mate $250US for shipping plus $80customs clearence in AUS. The quarentine fee is just luck sometimes you get hit with it sometimes you dont but if you do its another $80.

LD_Mart
03-09-2008, 10:06 PM
its $4.10 per kilo / 60 kilos for the rims $246 + $70 to pick them up in indo + $ 30 document fees in indo

Then in aus
Custom Clearance $150 + $33 Document fees + $30 Quarentine then i have to pick them up from the air port.

So all up postage is $559 before tax and duty fees

RUP14H
