I believe so. I only got my stereo upgraded last week and fit 6.5" splits in the doors. The rears in the Coupe are 6x9s.

That's a load of shit. He obviously knows nothing about Hondas.

the 6.5 and 6' cutouts are almost identical, 6.5 just mostly come with bigger baskets and magnet, that's why they dont fit sometimes....depends on the pods ur mounting them into.

I got 6inch in mine and still had to cut the backing part fo the door panel off (pretty easy to do)..Make sure its not going to hit the window as well ;)

if u upgrade to a 2 way or 3way speaker for the front door, yes,u have to cut a bit plastic trim off

On My Coupe I had 6inch Pioneers in it and I had to cut out the bit of plastic shit at the back for my massive magnet! (It was about 3mm from the window when winded down!) But I think 6.5 Will Fit! It might just need a little DIY spacer and a bit of jigsaw action.

The standard speaker holes are for 5" but with very little work 6" go in there but do require some work with the dremil tool. I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to squeeze 6.5" in there but I don’t know if the standard speaker grill would fit with the standard clips on it. The clips came quite close with the 6" speakers I put in my doors

i use to have 6.5" focal splits in my ek hatch.. they were abit too deep so i got some custom pods built using the original grills.. if anyone wants it im willing to swap with orginal grills!

Yeh i just installed my Kicker 6.5inch in my EK 4 door, jesus christ %100 percent improvement over stock speakers, also sound deaded both doors which also makes a world of difference, not just in stereo, but when you open and close your door.

My old philips 6.5 inch splits wouldn't fit in my front doors (EK4 Hatch), the holes appeared to be 6". Definately not 5 1/4, mounting holes are in the wrong position.

I installed JL 6" woofers into my EK4 - also had to cut the backing - but the diameter of the mounting plate was perfect.

6" Clarion splits went into the front doors of my EK hatch.

And as a million of other people of said, just had to cut away the plastic on the door trim. I just used a hacksaw :)
