Just went for a quick spin in the missus' EK and the wipers are absolutely hopeless! It does a shocking job of getting rid of water and leaves streak marks etc.

The earlier they're replaced the better so will a random set of wipers from autobarn do the job or are there some brands out there that work better?

Thanks in advance!

go for the bosch ones you can get from supercheap
about $17/side
i believe the passenger side is 450 while the driver side is 500(size wise)
mine works great as long as the windscreen is actually clean(leaves droplets when the windscreen is dirty but will dry in seconds while in motion)

jeebuz, $17 per side? I hope that's with the arm too...

i usually just get the blades... range anywhere from $10-20 for a pair, sold in singles or pairs. i've tried them all, Autobarn, Supercheap... find they're all almost the same in quality and usage life.

i just bought some from supercheap, $10 bucks a pair for silicon... does the job. but i'd also recommend Rainex... it's like a glass polish that makes rain bead off the windscreen. using that plus good wipers work a charm. only like 8 bucks (i think) a bottle at Supercheap - can't go wrong.

Yeah i've got a pair of the Bosch ones too, but i can't remember what they were called. They're curved, so when they're on your windscreen they clear water really well

Thanks for the tips guys.

I think I'm just going to replace the blades. Actually, how do you know if its the blades or the arms that need replacing?

Hell Honda oem ones are like 10 a side for the blade inserts or 115 gets you a pair of new bulk heads and blades at Honda. Or you can buy the Spoon wiper arms, which are really nice imo

Your arms are fine, it takes alot of beating to kill oem Honda arms, it's one of those things you will never replace under normal circumstances. I only replaced mine for Spoon ones basically because I cbfed painting them lol

i just replaced my blades at autobarn since they looked really beat up. dont know what brand they were because the guy just pulled them out of the box and chucked it on for me. They're pretty good, cost about 30 for both. anyone know where i can find a DIY to spray the arms? and the guy gave me caliper paint to spray the arms with, is that alright?

Caliper paint is more than ample enough, but you're after a matte black finish, they have cans of that from memory. There is also a thread on here showing what to use, and prep steps.
